Congratulations Malin – you are awesome!

Malin Anjou has been nominated for a special prize from Great Place to Work (GPTW). The justification for the award for Inspirational Leadership 2016 is:

A person who, through their leadership and efforts inspired employees to give their very best and take the organization to the next level.

And the nominees are:

  • Malin Anjou – Stretch
  • Jonas Elgquist – B3IT
  • Fredrik Hemviken – Navigio

Today all companies act in a changing world, thus being alert and willing to adapt to change as an organization is important. At the same time, it is important to be down-to-earth and to have a solid foundation of values, strategies,  and a culture that is strongly rooted in the organization.

Stretch is a workplace with both feet on the ground and our participation in GPTW is a way to measure how our organization is doing. As such, this nomination is a great step to ensuring that Stretch stays grounded in its core values. Participation in GPTW is also a way for us to sharpen our skills and remember the importance of not settling for less than the very best when building a workplace in the forefront of great organizations.

Stretch is what our awesome employees deliver, which also creates a great environment for leadership. Together, we developed and will continue to develop Stretch. For us, management coaching is a key to success, and our leaders continue to develop and remain accessible – they are living our core values!

Malin embodies the culture of Stretch and our core values in a fantastic way. Through her personal leadership, combined with her ambition and competitive spirit, she has developed Stretch to the fantastic company we are – and continues to do so every day! I’m incredibly proud and pleased that Malin received this worthy nomination.

– Jan Maelum, Chairman of the Board at Stretch AB

The winner of the award for ‘Inspirational Leadership’ will be announced at the gala for the Best Workplaces at Circus in Stockholm on March 16th – Exciting!

At Stretch, we are not trying to be perfect, just better than we were yesterday – both as a company and as individuals. Our journey continues, and we hope you want to be a part of it, as a customer or a colleague!
